EVENT PHOTOS
FOR INDIVIDUALS
Photos are available via Pixieset after events I attend. I try my best to try and capture as many different dogs as I can, usually in between running my own dogs! You are always welcome to let me know whether there's a particular shot you're longing for and I will try make it happen.
FOR HOSTS
I am always happy to come attend an event at request! Please contact me to discuss. There may be payment required depending on if you are a commercial business, the travel involved, and whether you have any particular purpose for the photos. If this applies this is generally is a flat charge for attendance and a predetermined number of photos, and I then sell additional photos to attendees
The Process
After photos are captured, I spend time carefully culling and sorting photos to present a gallery that is up to my standards and relatively easy to sort through to find your dog. Photos get a light bulk edit, and I may crop or straighten a few photos that particularly need it. They then get uploaded to Pixieset where you can look through them and make your picks.
Purchased photos will receive a full individualised edit. You have two options for these, outlined below:
The ART EDIT
An in-depth edit aiming to really highlight your dog and make them pop. Distraction removal where possible - free to inquire about particular requests.
High resolution - perfect for printing
I aim for a quick turnaround (2-4 days), but please allow maximum 14 days.

The Sport edit
A light edit that includes cropping, straightening, colour correcting, easy and obvious distraction removal, and highlighting the dog's eyes if visible.
Social media resolution - perfect for sharing
I aim for a very quick turnaround (1-3 days), but please allow maximum 7 days

CAN I MAKE EDITING REQUESTS?
Feel free to get in touch before purchasing a photo if you have questions about how I might edit it, or a particular request or style. I'm very happy to let you know if I can accommodate your preferences!
CAN YOu MAKE SURE TO get photos of my dog?
If I know you want photos I will definitely make an extra effort to try capture you - so just let me know!
I know how great it is when you get a shot capturing a new skill you've been working on, whether that's a running contact, tricky threadle, or the perfect indication. If you let me know your dream shot, I definitely can make an extra effort to try capture that particular moment
CAN You remove....?
Probably! If there's something in particular really bothering you about a photo (the portaloo in the background, the colourful spectator, maybe even you!) you are welcome to ask me first before purchasing. A good rule of thumb is that if it is completely isolated from other objects, in the background, and obvious, I will probably be planning on removing it in a Sport edit. If it's overlapping over objects, particularly your dog, it may be too difficult or at least require an Art edit.
If you'd like to ensure you get some nice photos of your dog doing their chosen sport, with a nice clean background, we can absolutely look into doing that as a photoshoot - just get in touch.
What Can I do with the photos I purchase?
When you purchase an event photo through Pixieset, you are purchasing a digital use license to share that photo, which you agree to at checkout and you can read it in full there.
The main takeaways for personal use is that copyright still belongs with me, and you cannot alter the images further yourself, aside from reasonable cropping to make them fit your social media posts.
I do allow photos to be used commercially at no extra cost for sharing on social media, in newsletters, and on websites, but they must not be altered, I must be credited (either on the photo, in the caption, or tagged), and unless I have given permission otherwise, they need to be purchased by the business itself. If you would like to waive this requirement, I can arrange a separate license at a higher cost.
Any high-value commercial use is prohibited under this license - contact me to discuss if a different license is needed. If you're not sure about how you want to use an image, please check with me first.
You took photos at my club's event, can we have some to use?
Absolutely! I am always happy to give event hosts some free photos for sharing in newsletters, Facebook posts, to give to sponsors, etc. They will be social-media resolution and have a small watermark in the corner. These photos must not be cropped.
I couldn't take the photos if you didn't host the event, so this one is a no-brainer to me! Just get in touch to organise
Can i order prints of my event photos from you?
Absolutely. You can't order this within Pixieset event galleries but get in touch and I can talk this through with you, and make sure you get the exact piece you're after. You can see the options here
Any photos purchased as a physical art piece will get an Art Edit, the cost of which is included within the cost of the art. You will also get a social-media resolution copy of the image
